My plant journey has been one of evolution and restoration. I love the process of growing and learning what makes these PRETTY GREEN PLANT THINGS thrive and endure.
The bonus is that they have taught me about myself and revealed ways that I can better care for my mind, body, and spirit, and share with the world.
I hope that you will use this platform to create your own unique PLANT EXPERIENCE.
I would love to learn and grow from your ideas, and hopefully, you can do the same with what I have to share.
Although the pandemic was an inflection point that catapulted my world into PLANT NIRVANA, there have been so many pretty green encounters along the way that have always brought me back to a wonderful green space.
Ah, the stories I could tell! :relaxed:

As a kid, my grandmother had a backyard in Brooklyn that was literally the size of a large bedroom and every single inch of space was teeming with plants, flowers and every vegetable that she could nurture growth and sustenance.
Since the 1980s bok choy had become an integral part of our family gatherings.
Before the fermentation and process was complete, my grandmother would allow me to sip the sweet beginnings of cherry and strawberry wine.
Every year I would learn of begonias, petunias and any other flower that emerged from the backyard and made its way into her front window to share with passer-bys and folks who came to visit. What a time!
My Mom carried on those traditions with wild herbs from the garden that would nearly obliterate perennials and annuals with their deep roots and bounty of blooms.

Since the 1980s bok choy had become an integral part of our family gatherings.
And lets not even talk about the towering potted dieffenbachias, dracaenas, ferns and pothos that would whisper from the attic and call me upstairs to fill their saucers and ceramic plates with water to complement the intense rays of sunshine from the outdoors.
All of these experiences have helped cultivate this passion that I am honored to now share with you all about EVERYTHING plants.
Be sure to leave me a note here or on social media and let me know what nurtured your pretty green plant thing journey.
Cheers,
Lisa.
